Monte Naranco en Asturias, España / Naranco hill in Asturias, Spain

San Miguel de Lillo es un monasterio edificado en el 842, en tiempos del reinado de Ramiro I. Fue declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad y está cerca de Santa María del Naranco. / San Miguel de Lillo is a convent build in 842, in Ramiro I´s reign. It was human heritage, and it´s near to Sta. María del Naranco.

Santa María del Naranco es una iglesia prerrománica de tiempos de los núcleos cristianos del norte que sirvió como vivienda para el rey Ramiro I / Snta María del Naranco is a prerromanesque church. It was king Ramiro I´s dwelling.

Cristo en la cima del monte. Brilla por la noche y si no está cubierto por niebla, no lloverá. / Christ in the top of the mountain. It shines in the night and if there´s fog, will rain.

Hórreos y paneras / Granaries and "paneras"

Un hórreo es una edificación típica asturiana que se utilizaba para guardar maíz, patata, etc. Tiene forma cuadrada y se sujeta mediante cuatro pilares para preservarlo de los roedores. / An "hórreo" is a typical building from Asturias, and it was used for keep corn, potato, etc. It´s square, and it´s above four legs because mouses and rats can nibble the food.

Una panera es lo mismo solo que es rectangular y se sujeta por seis o más pilares / A "panera" it´s the same, but it´s rectangular and it has six or more legs.

Este halcón lo protege de roedores / This falcon´s keeping that because there´re rodents near.
